Lawn Fawnatics Winter Holiday card

I had a chance to participate in the Lawn Fawnatics challenge--Winter Holiday projects.  We have a local amusement park that has a Winter Fest--they have ice skating, shows, etc. and I based my card on a little scene that you might see if you go. :)  I masked off the tracks of the roller coaster after I Copic colored them and used the same Distress Oxide inks that I used on the night sky to make sure they blended in nicely.  I also used my Lawn Fawn a Textured White Embossing Powder for the first time--it turned out so cute!

Supplies (all by Lawn Fawn, unless otherwise noted):
Coaster Critters stamps and dies
Christmas Dreams stamps and dies (Christmas tree)
Snow Play stamps and dies ("shops")
Home For Christmas stamps and dies (presents)
Upon A Star stamp set (stars)

Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die

Hello Bluebird Fall Friends

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

I used the Fall Friends stamp set from Hello Bluebird to create this cute fall scene card.  I ink blended Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock for my background elements--Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch for the sky and a couple greens (that I can't remember) for the grass.  :)  I colored the cute images with Copic markers, die cut them with the coordinating dies, and arranged them onto my scene.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Lawn Fawn white embossing powder, used a Lawn Fawn banner die, and cut out the panel and the grass panels with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.  The grass was cut using the Hello Bluebird Grassy Knoll die.

Concord & 9th--Grateful For You

Instagram: @amypeach1978

This is such a gorgeous stamp set by Concord & 9th. I decided to showcase the floral spray by using Prismacolor Colored Pencils on Kraft cardstock--first I stamped the florals with Fog ink by Simon Says Stamp in my MISTI--colored the panel, then put the panel back in the MISTI in the same position, stamped with Versamark, and embossed with gold embossing powder.

The blue panel was ink blended using Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks, then I gold embossed the sentiment.

Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks
Versamark ink and Gold Embossing powder

Sweet Shop--Lawnfawnatics Challenge

Instagram: @amypeach1978

I'm participitating in the current Lawnfawnatics challenge, an inspiration mood board. I was really inspired by the colors and started my card by choosing the blue and green color palette.  Ever since I saw the I Scream, You Scream die set, I had been imagining an ice cream shop with the big ice cream cone on the roof.  Since the ice cream cone is so huge compared to the girl from Bicycle Built For You, I pulled in the Wish Big sentiment from Elphie Selfie...it made me giggle.  I created the Sweet Shop with a couple rectangle dies and freehand cut a trapezoid shape out of white cardstock, then layered my scalloped pieces on and cut off the excess.  I pulled in some "bushes" using the tree tops from Stitched Hillside Backdrop--Landscape, and the rock from Mermaid For You.

Supplies (all by Lawn Fawn, unless otherwise noted):
I Scream, You Scream Dies
Sweetest Flavor stamps and dies
Bunting Borders
Bicycle Built For You (girl)
Mermaid For You (rock)
Elphie Selfie (Wish Big sentiment)
Rub A Dub Dub (It's Your Day sentiment)
Howard's ABCs ("SHOP")
Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape (bushes)
Stitched Scalloped Borders (roof)
Stitched Hillside Borders
Stitched Rectangle Stackables (I think small, but I'm not sure)
Peacock, Mermaid, Noble Fir, Paper Bag, Ballet Slippers, and Raspberry card stock
Noble Fir, Peacock, Mermaid, Ballet Slippers, and Doe ink pads (I added some dimension to each of the die cut shapes by blending on the coordinating ink onto the edges)
Rainbow and Spring Plaid 6 x 6 Petite Patterned Paper Pack
Other: Copic Markers, Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Jewel by Pretty Pink Posh, Scotch Foam Tape by 3M

Gina K Designs Wreath Builder

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

My Gina K Designs Wreath Builder stamp and stencil set finally came off backorder and I couldn't resist playing over the weekend.  I had watched Jennifer McGuire's video from about a month ago and loved how she used a bigger piece of cardstock than would fit in the stencils so she could make a rectangle shaped card panel, so I had to copy that idea.  I am more drawn to rectangle cards for some reason.  :)

Supplies:
Wreath Builder stamps and stencils from Gina K Designs
Inks by Lawn Fawn:  Deep Sea, Raspberry, Ballet Slippers, Cilantro, Noble Fir, Moonstone, Celery Stick
Rainbow Sparkle Mix jewels from Little Things by Lucy's Cards
Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables die by Lawn Fawn
Storm Cloud card stock by Lawn Fawn
Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock
Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables die

Alcohol Ink Background--Neat & Tangled Sentiment

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

This card was my first foray into alcohol inks and I looove the way it turned out!  I made two backgrounds--the first time didn't turn out great and I think it's because I manipulated it too much.  This one turned out way better--I just dropped the two ink colors onto Yupo paper, dripped on silver and gold mixatives, dripped on the blender solution, and tipped the paper to let the excess ink drip off.  Then I let it go.  The colors are so stunning and dynamic.  The entire card took me about 20 minutes, including the alcohol ink play time and drying time.

Supplies:
Stream and Wild Plum alcohol inks by Ranger
Gold and Silver alcohol ink mixatives
Outside In Stitched Circle die by Lawn Fawn
Awesome stamp set and die set by Neat & Tangled
Peacock cardstock by Lawn Fawn
Fog cardstock by Simon Says Stamp

Hello Bluebird Stamps--Springtime

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

I absolutely LOVE the cute stamps by Hello Bluebird!  I used almost all of the images in the Springtime set to create this happy card.  I bought an extra Springtime stamp set to give away on my Instagram page once I hit 1500 followers, so be sure to check that out! :)

I had a lot of fun with this card.  I used white pigment ink to sponge a subtle cloud background on the blue cardstock and used a couple of hill dies for a sloped, two-tiered hillside.  I went a little crazy with the Glossy Accents and applied it to all of the flowers, the frog's eyeballs, the balloon flowers, the sun, the snail shell, the butterflies, and the little bows.  I also used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush pen on a lot of those elements as well (not the frog's eyes lol)

Supplies:
Springtime stamps and dies by Hello Bluebird Stamps
Spring Script stamps by Hello Bluebird Stamps (sentiment)
MFT cloud stencil
White pigment ink by Lawn Fawn, as well as stitched hillside border dies
Basis 8.5 x 11 80 lb cardstock in light lime by cutcardstock.com

MFT Stamps Blueprints #27 (stitched rectangle die)
Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock

Hello Bluebird Stamps--McGregor's Garden

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

I had to use the little vegetables in a shaker card with these adorable stamps from Hello Bluebird Stamps.  This set is called McGregor's Garden and I actually affixed the veggies inside the panel so they don't overlap each other, but the star confetti is loose and shakes around.  I used about six of the Gallery Frame #1 die stacked on top of each other to assemble the shaker window.  I used Copic markers to color the sweet little bunny, bird, and veggies.  I used the Marvy Uchida Snow Marker on the bunny tail for a cute, cottony look.  I applied Glossy Accents to the flower pot, the bird's beak, and the yellow center of the daisy for some extra shine.

Supplies:
McGregor's Garden stamps and dies by Hello Bluebird Stamps
Gallery Frame #1 die by Hello Bluebird Stamps
Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks
Copic Markers
Glossy Accents
Marvy Uchida Snow Pen
Transparency for shaker window
Star confetti by Recollections
Versafine Onyx Black ink (for sentiment) and clear embossing powder by Hero Arts

Hello Bluebird Stamps--Jungle Littles (again)

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

Since my last Jungle Littles card was so busy, I decided to keep this one simple. I colored the adorable lion with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers and Copics for the leaves and flower. You can't really tell, but the flower is sparkly.

Supplies:
Jungle Littles stamps and dies
Embossing folder by Lifestyle Crafts
Mermaid and Black Licorice card stock by Lawn Fawn
Neenah Desert Storm card stock
MFT Stamps Blueprints 27 die (stitched rectangle)

Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge--Spring/Easter Cards

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

I was sooo happy to receive this SSS Monthly Kit in the mail---I've always had a thing for butterflies.  :)  I stamped and gold heat embossed the leaves, butterfly trail, sentiment, and butterfly onto cardstock weight vellum, colored the leaves and butterfly on the back with Copic markers, then fussy cut the butterfly and stuck it down.  I adhered the vellum panel to a piece of Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow patterned paper (included in the kit) and then tied it all together with another piece of the paper cut with a Lawn Fawn frame die. Little Things by Lucy's Cards clear gems complete this really quick card (it only looks complicated). :)
