Lawnfawnatics Inspiration Board

Instagram:  @amypeach1978

It took me a while to be happy with this card. I had the hearts, squares, and gray panel all adhered down, but then the left side of the card looked weird and bland.  A couple days ago I added the patterned paper strip, and then yesterday I added the sentiment banner and Lawn Trimmings twine and that pulled it all together.

Supplies (all by Lawn Fawn, unless otherwise noted):
Conversation Hearts Add-On stamps and dies
Ballet Slippers and Bubblegum ink, Moonstone and Blue Jay ink, Minty Fresh and Merman ink, Fresh Lavender and Grape Soda ink, Peachy Keen and Peach Fuzz ink, Mermaid and Peacock ink
Storm Cloud cardstock
Aquamarine Lawn Trimmings
Large Stitched Square Stackables
Mint Line Dance Patterned Paper
Fancy Folded Banners die
Lacy Borders die
Other: Scotch 3m foam tape, Neenah Solar White cardstock

Paper Smooches Baby Birds

I'm playing along in the January 2018 Fan Favorite Anything Goes Challenge at Paper Smooches.  :)

I did some really quick watercoloring with Candied Apple and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks onto Tim Holtz watercolor paper, then used some watered down Black Soot Distress Oxide to flick the paper with some black dots for some added texture. There was some clean water on the handle of my paintbrush, which also splattered down for a happy accident and "starburst looking" splotches.

I used my Paper Smooches Baby Birds stamps and dies to create the bird and sentiment and adhered the watercolor panel to a piece of Aqua cardstock that I dry embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.  I love the bright colors and the little bird and sentiment are so, so cute. :) I used C3, C5, and C7 Copic markers for the bird's body and BG13, BG15, and BG18 for the hair. I think I used Y35 and Y37 for the beak. I finished off the hair with Spectrum Noir clear glitter brush pen and Glossy Accents for the beak. Foam tape pops up the watercolor panel and I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher for some detail on the sentiment strip.

SSS Flickr Challenge #88 Watercoloring

Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge--Watercolor

Instagram: @amypeach1978

I cut the SSS Stacked Hearts die out of masking paper, then stuck it onto watercolor paper and watercolored with my Gansai Tambi watercolors right over the mask. I splattered with white gold Gansai Tambi watercolors after using the purple and blues. When it was dry, I took off the mask and offset it a little before running it back through my die cut machine to press it down securely

Supplies:
SSS Stacked Hearts, Script Thanks, Nested Hearts, and Mini Hearts Outline wafer thin dies
SSS Fog cardstock
Gansai Tambi watercolors and Starry Metallic watercolors
Jewels by Little Things by Lucy's Cards
Vellum, dark gray cardstock, spectrum noir clear glitter brush pen, glossy accents
